A-League To A-Lister

A few weeks ago, music legend Lionel Richie performed in front of 10,000 adoring fans at our Central Coast Stadium.

Lionel Richie wowed the screaming audience with a professionally choreographed show on an enormous stage that filled the stadium.

This enormous stage created quite the challenge for our Groundsmen at Central Coast Stadium, the show resulted in our turf being completely covered for days while the organisers bumped in all the equipment, and out again after the concert.

Our Greenkeepers succeeded in bringing the world class turf back to championship quality in just days. The pictures below show the damage to the turf after the event, and the quality of the turf just days later.

Well done to our grounds team for getting the turf game day ready for the NRL this weekend. We look forward to more major events at Central Coast Stadium!
