Green Options at the Commonwealth Games

In October 2017, Green Options were engaged by Cockram to complete the grow in program for the warm up track and the main arena for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

This was a very exciting project to be a part of and we must commend Cockram for their management of such a large scale event. Their safety procedures and high standards made the job such a pleasure to work for.

The Green Options Team worked many hot weekends to ensure the surface never dried out, especially when the running track was being installed and no irrigation was allowed to run.

This was a great project for many of our apprentices to experience and to really get a feel for the operational scale of a high profile venue.

Once again, we would like to thank Cockram for allowing Green Options to be apart of this project and we wish Australia the best of luck during the Commonwealth Games.
