It was a ‘Nines’ format on a modified field size with a game duration of 30 minutes. Some of the biggest names in Rugby League featured including Wendell Sailor, Gordon Tallis, Steve Menzies, Danny Buderus, Kurt Gidley, Nathan Hindmarsh, Willie Mason and Craig Wing. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs took home the trophy beating the Newcastle Knights in the Grand Final.
