Beautifying Properties For Youth Off The Streets

Every day our teams work in Australia’s public parks, gardens and grounds. Some of these spaces are shared by people who have found themselves without a home.

Our grounds staff are always sensitive of the situations and try to assist on the front line wherever possible. But we always look for more we can do to help.

Over the years Green Options have been proudly supporting Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets program who provide assistance in many ways, including crisis and transitional housing.

This month we were able to assist the amazing Youth Off The Streets staff by beautifying one of their properties.

The front and back yards have been transformed by creating more usable spaces – the front yard has become a more inviting entrance with new gardens and grass, the back yard has seen the turf area extended with a native Grevillea boundary hedge and a workable vegetable garden.
